Sorry about the delay, the chronicler was having trouble finding his paintbrush...

The Great Hall has been finished and it's time to work on the ceiling, which is also the floor of the third story. So the castle is surrounded by piles and piles of slate; here it seems that the carters have broken a wheel.



It took workers weeks to build and install the joists, which are all interconnected for maximum strength.



Nailing down the last plank...



Oh good, the carters have fixed their cart.
